SOME UGLY TRUTH

Something disturbing I see at conventions, and it was so this weekend, People rarely wash their hands before exiting the restroom. Since I'm known by some friends as Captain peanut bladder, I feel like I'm getting a pretty good sample size (rim shot). So, it's pretty fair to say conventions are wall to wall pee pee hands. Since I also see a fair number of people walking straight from the stall to the convention floor, poo poo hands is also well represented.
You gotta start washing your hands people. It's time to stop behaving like fucking animals or stop wondering why you are and always have been social outcasts. It's not that "they" don't get you. They get you. You're filthy oily waste-handed animals.

MORE NEW COMMISSIONS

It's been fun getting back to these.  It's been ages (years) sonce I've been able to take a bite out of my list.

These were done for one guy.   They're characters from the pulps who were inspirstion for Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.   Attempting to capture the feel of the pulps I broke out the dry-brush.  I hadn't used it in ages and struggled out of the gate, but don't feel too terrible about the results.  The Bat was the first one I worked on and hardly has any on it.  Olga came next and is, probably, overworked.  Gladiator is my favorite of the bunch.  It's the best drawn and designed of the three and I'd settled into the inking approach enough to not hate it.  It's almost like I knew what I was doing.

SPLIT 7" ART

Drew the art for a couple of local bands' 7" split.  Pretty different for me.  Went for a 70"s underground psych feel.  Give the burners something to stare at while they listen.  I've always wanted to do a the art for something like this. I don't know The Dirty Streets, but I dig Iron Tongue.  They have a Clutch kinda thing going on.

FORT WORTH APPEARANCE OCT 29TH

I you're interesting in bearing witness to a brilliant disaster, I'll be speaking at Tarrant County College Southeast Campus.  I'll be discussing my long and disappointing career in comics and the creative process that led to this sad state of affairs.  There will be a slideshow that might have been put together by a low functioning monkey followed by a question and answer with crying.

It's been forever and a day since I last posted anything here.  If anyone is still (was ever) following this thing,  I have some news.

I have a new creator owned comic, SHRINKAGE.  It's written by, Conan O'Brien and Daily Show writer, Rob Kutner.  It's available on the Farrago Comics app.  All content is free.  So, go get it.

VERY IMPORTANT:  When setting up age parameters, do not select all ages.

FOUR NORSEMEN IS DONE.

At long last I've finished the art for the OGN Matt Sturgess and I have been working on for FIRST COMICS.  I know all concerned are relieved I, finally, pushed it out.  Matt is, no doubt, dong naked cartwheels in his front lawn.  Below are the last two pages I drew for it.  Over the course of its 166 pages, and projects that drew me away for spells, I would gain and lose steam.  I feel like I've ended on a high note.

Now, on to projects I've been chomping to get to.  I'm excited as all hell.
